UK NARIC is the National Agency responsible for providing information and expert opinion on vocational, academic and professional skills and qualifications from over 180 countries worldwide.
As the National Agency, managed on behalf of the UK Government, they provide the only official source of information on international qualifications through quick and easy access to the advice you need.
In order to ensure that that they able to evaluate qualifications correctly they require certified English translations of any document that isn't already in English.
For certain languages, the translation waiver scheme removes the additional time and expense of acquiring a translation and enables them to process an application without the usual requirement of a certified translation.
This service is available to those who hold qualifications in the following languages:
- Bulgarian
- Catalan
- Chinese
- Danish
- French
- German
- Italian
- Norwegian
- Russian
- Romanian
- Spanish
- Swedish
- Portuguese
If you hold qualification given in one of these languages, you can benefit from this scheme by submitting photocopies of the original award. You do not need to provide a certified translation, however, UK Naric does NOT provide written translations for applicants.
